WHY CHOOSE ATHLETE FOCUSED?
-
Support that reflects the realities of the CASES pathway
We understand the demands of balancing applied work, evidence collection and portfolio writing. Supervision is structured around your caseload, helping you turn day-to-day practice into portfolio-ready evidence. -
A clear process for portfolio development
Rather than leaving you to interpret standards alone, we guide you through how to structure, write and present your work in line with CASES expectations, so you know what “good” looks like at every stage. -
Consistent, individualised supervision
Monthly one-to-one sessions ensure you are progressing in the right direction. For example, reviewing a recent athlete intervention and identifying how it maps directly to CASES competencies. -
Learning through shared experience
Small group sessions give you exposure to different sports, environments and challenges, helping you broaden your understanding while strengthening your own casework. -
Feedback that improves both your portfolio and your practice
Our focus is not just on getting your portfolio submitted, but improving how you think, reflect and operate as a practitioner in real environments. -
Built on an applied, performance-driven model
As part of Athlete Focused, your development sits within a wider system of sport science, strength and conditioning, psychology and performance support, giving you insight that goes beyond the portfolio itself.
