3 SESSION MENTAL TOUGHNESS PROGRAM

THIS 3 SESSION APPROACH IS SUITABLE FOR TEAMS OR INDIVIDUALS AND IS TAKEN FROM SPORTS PSYCHOLOGY RESEARCH THAT CENTRES ITS SUPPORT ON 3 CENTRAL CONCEPTS:

 

1.  MINDFULNESS

2. ACCEPTANCE

3. COMMITMENT  

THIS APPROACH WILL DEVELOP YOUR ABILITY TO THRIVE IN DIFFICULT PERFORMANCE MOMENTS. YOU WILL  BE GIVEN THE TOOLS THAT WILL ALLOW YOU TO COMPLETE MORE PERFORMANCE BEHAVIOURS, EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE DIFFICULT THOUGHTS SUCH AS "I AM TOO TIRED" OR "I CANNOT DO THIS".

EACH SESSION WILL LAST APPROXIMATELY 45 MINUTES AND CAN BE COMPLETED OVER THE PHONE OR IN PERSON. WE WILL COVER ALL THE PROGRAM CONTENT AND  ALLOW TIME FOR REFLECTION ON WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED ABOUT YOURSELF, AND YOUR PERFORMANCE.
