Young golfers can develop their game, build confidence, and experience what elite-level support looks like in golf. 

Our Summer Golf Camp at Murrayshall Golf Club, Perth is designed for young golfers who want to improve their performance in a supportive, high-quality environment. Blending technical coaching with physical development, the camp introduces players to the key principles that underpin progress in modern golf. 

Delivered by experienced coaches, each day combines practical learning with on-course application, helping athletes leave more confident, capable, and clear on how to keep improving.

  • Time: 09:30 – 16:30 
  • Age Group: 12–18

  • Format: Mixed camp 
  • Lunch is provided each day. 

 

What to Expect 

Each day is structured to balance coaching, development, and real on-course experience. 

Athletes will take part in: 

  • Technical golf coaching with individual feedback 
  • Introduction to strength and conditioning for golf 
  • Guided on-course play across 18 holes on the Championship course 
  • Practical advice they can apply beyond the camp 

The morning focuses on two core workshops, combining golf coaching with strength and conditioning. The afternoon then brings everything together on the course. 

For example, an athlete might work on swing mechanics in the morning, learn how to support this physically through simple gym-based exercises, then apply those changes during a full round in the afternoon. 

 

Strength & Conditioning Approach 

The S&C element is designed to support long-term development. 

Athletes will be introduced to: 

  • Fundamental movement and lifting techniques 
  • How strength supports performance in golf 
  • Simple, safe exercises appropriate for their age and stage 

There is no formal testing. Instead, the focus is on building understanding and confidence, with each athlete receiving a follow-up home-based programme to continue their progress. 

 

Golf Coaching 

Sessions are built around the individual. 

Athletes will receive: 

  • Personalised coaching and feedback 
  • Support with key technical areas 
  • Guidance on improving consistency and decision-making on the course 

This is not a one-size-fits-all session. Each player is coached based on their needs, helping them understand both what to improve and how to do it. 

 

Coaching Team 

The camp is delivered by Paul Wilkinson and Andy Todd, bringing together practical coaching experience, elite golf expertise, and a strong understanding of athlete development. 

Their experience working within elite golf environments shapes how sessions are designed, blending sport-specific insight with proven coaching principles to support each athlete’s long-term progression. 

Every session is structured, supportive, and focused on helping each athlete progress at their own level, building confidence alongside performance.
